systematically guide you through the expert principals of modern Trance music
production.
Sick and tired of searching web pages for snippets of information on
Trance or Reason?
Some people spend
years trying to discover the secrets contained within this eBook and worse
still, some people never get it, no matter how hard they try they just cant get
THAT sound.
Why not just buy this
eBook and save yourself a whole lot of time and trouble
Had enough of working through tutorials that read like Taiwanese
stereo instructions?
The Reason 4 Trance
Tutorial will endeavour at all times to explain concepts of a technical nature
in down to earth layman’s terms without detracting
from the science in any way
Just bought another book on Reason only to find out it is a poor
retread of the manual?
The Reason 4 Trance
Tutorial takes a completely different approach to these kinds of books and
focuses on learning how to use the program to make the music you
want to make rather than just learning how to use the program
Fed up with buying books on Reason that promise
so called ‘expert’ techniques and end up focusing on obvious basics like how to
load and save a song file?
The Reason 4 Trance
Tutorial will bypass that kind of chaff and get straight to the heart of the
subject, like how to make
better music!
Bored of reading articles on Trance production which focus on a
style so outdated (like some ancient 303 Goa Trance) that is has no bearing on
your idea of Trance music whatsoever?
This eBook will show
you how to get the sound of modern Trance. E.g. Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin van Burren.
How about this one...?
You spend weeks searching on Google or in books and magazines for a
Reason Tutorial, finally you find it, begin working through and realize the
author is only telling you what he
did to create his track, he doesn’t bother to explain why he employed certain techniques and how you can use them to better your
music. So, you go around twiddling knobs and
increasing faders not having the first clue what each knob or fader is actually
doing. You finish reading and realize that you are none the wiser; all you know
is how to create somebody else’s track!
The Reason 4 Trance
Tutorial discusses and evaluates each step along the way making sure the techniques and reasons behind
them go straight into your brain and stay there.

Who will benefit from
owning the Reason 4 Trance Tutorial?
People who own Reason and would like to learn how
to write Trance music...
This is
without a doubt the eBook for you. You will learn building blocks that will
help you in years to come, simultaneously exploring the theoretical and
practical aspects of Trance music production while learning the Reason
software.
It is
pointless lying, this eBook wont make you a successful Trance producer, no
eBook can do that. That is governed by talent, which
cannot be bought. However, the Reason 4 Trance Tutorial
will significantly reduce the path towards enlightenment (and hopefully a
record deal). Remember,
the faster you learn the rules the faster you can start breaking them.
Beginners to Reason and/or Trance music
production...
This
is the ideal quickstart guide that will take the reader on a journey from
beginner to advanced quickly and easily. Impress your friends with your production skills and theoretical
knowledge, and do it in record time!
Music Technology Students...
You
wanted to learn how to make the music of your wildest dreams, so what better
way to do it than enlist in an educational collage course and get ‘trained
properly’. These courses are run by the government, so they must be packed full
of great teachers pushing students to the highest of highs who will know all
about making it in the Trance scene right? Well...not
exactly.
The majority
of staff at TTI qualified with at least collage level music
technology and it is the sad truth that in our experience many music
technology courses are at best geared towards rock and hip-hop musicians. At
worst, you will find them understaffed, badly funded and lacking in direction.
If
you are lucky, you might get into some hardcore Sabine’s formula, but that is
about as hardcore as you are going to get. You see, these kinds of courses work
from a curriculum and that curriculum includes things like, how to use a
sequencer, how to timestretch. It doesn’t
include the most important thing...how to get GOOD! If you want to get good and do it
quickly while also learning the theory behind what you are doing, you need the
Reason 4 Trance Tutorial.
We
are not totally ripping collage courses here, they are great fun, and they will
teach you about meeting deadlines and making friends, and there is always the
competition, competition is healthy. When you know deep down everyone’s
secretly hoping it is they who come up with the best tunes during the year, you
want to make sure you get a piece of that. Imagine being able to confidently produce competitive Trance tracks and come in
to collage with a CD full of new material to show off to your peers. Breeze
through collage, safe in the knowledge that you probably know more than half
the tutors, and best of all you learned it using a quick and easy method that
you actually enjoyed. The Reason 4 Trance Tutorial is the ultimate collage companion.
People who own Reason...
Perhaps
you own Reason but are not really into Trance. Perhaps you are interested in
another style of music or maybe you write music for computer games or
advertisements. Therefore, you don’t
really need to learn about Trance music right? Wrong! Trance is perhaps
the most influential of all electronic styles, Trance music or a derivative
appears in television advertisements, radio commercials computer games etc.
Trance is a massive influence on a variety of other styles from Hard House to
Tech House, Trip Hop to Pop. If producing is your bag, you will benefit from a working
knowledge of Trance music production no matter your discipline.

Just a quick one, I bought your e-book Reason 4
Tutorial last week, and I found it the best advice I've
read anywhere for trying to create Trance within Reason. I've
spent hundreds of £'s on Computer Music magazines and have still been left
scratching my head afterwards. I've been looking for a
logical tutorial where you actually program a full track from start to finish,
following instructions with explanations, so well done, no doubt you've helped
a lot of people understand.
Regards,
Tim
I recently purchased your Reason 4 Trance Tutorial.
It has helped me immensely, especially the parts that
deal with Mastering & EQ. Thank you very much!
Kind Regards
