Here are all the Major and minor scales. Major scales are next to their relative minor.

You may sharpen the seventh note of any minor scale. The version with the sharpened seventh is commonly used.

Scales work regardless of octave.

‘Descriptions’ of sound or feeling are given above the scales. These are just general guidelines, scales sound different depending on who is listening and indeed, who is playing.
