Z3TA+ Power Osc

Getting Started
I am often
talking about the power of Z3TA+ and now I will illustrate that power. In this
short tutorial, you will create a powerful Trance lead using only 1 oscillator and still get the device to sound unbelievably
fat and loud.
1. Start
the Z3TA+ program.

2. Left Click the Program Button in the Master
Section and select Initialize
from the menu.

Now you
have an ‘initial patch’ for Z3TA+. This is a starting point for programming the
synth.
I assume
you have a MIDI keyboard hooked up to Z3TA+. Playing notes on the keyboard will
have no effect yet, because all oscillators are currently off.
3. Left Click Twice in the Render Field and set Render to High.
![]()
With this
setting Z3TA+’s audio output will render at a much higher rate, resulting in
better quality.
4. Left Click Nine Times
in the Poly Field, setting the
synths Polyphony to 24.
![]()
This
increases the number of notes Z3TA+ can play at any one time to twenty-four.
5. Left Click the Limiter Button to turn on Z3TA+’s Master Limiter.
![]()
The Master
Limiter will not allow output levels to breach a 0dB threshold.
6. Left Click the Options Button and from the menu select 2x Oversampling.

Z3TA+ will
now internally sample at twice the normal rate. This results in even higher
quality and allows you to bring the sound very close to ‘hardware’ indeed.
